In the discussion session, delegates focused on contributing opinions around the topic: Enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in gathering, building and firmly consolidating the great national unity bloc.
Stating the experience of applying digital transformation in the work of summarizing and collecting opinions and recommendations from voters and people, contributing to creating social consensus and strengthening the great national unity bloc in Da Nang city, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City Fatherland Front Committee said that the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the area have focused on forming a digital ecosystem through the effective implementation of the "Digital Front Portal" and operating the community page: Front Fanpage, Zalo OA Da Nang Front and the electronic information portal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city connected to the city's platforms.
Through digital platforms, receiving direct opinions from the people and grasping public opinion is carried out regularly on cyberspace. All opinions are digitized, updated and monitored on the system, contributing to improving transparency and minimizing delays in information processing.
According to Mr. Hung, if previously, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the Front was mainly through periodic conferences, now the Front has shifted from "hearing people speak periodically" to "listening to the People in real time". People can use smartphones to directly reflect issues arising in daily life. This not only expands the scope of people's participation but also enhances the responsibility of functional agencies to solve problems, contributing to consolidating people's trust.
The Fanpage, Zalo OA, and Electronic Information Portal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city have become effective social interaction channels with millions of visits. The electronic document system helps 100% of voters' opinions to be quickly and accurately conveyed. Community Zalo groups have become "extended arms" of the Front at the grassroots level" - Mr. Hung cited.
From the reality of the locality, representatives of the leaders of the Da Nang City Fatherland Front Committee proposed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front take the lead in researching and building a centralized data system and a digital map of voters' opinions nationwide. This will help the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels not only listen to the people but also quickly and accurately identify pressing issues of the people to participate in resolving or supervising them in a timely manner.
Sharing at Workshop No. 1, Mr. Nguyen Tuc, Member of the Presidium of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that it is necessary to strengthen the political core role of the Front in building the great unity bloc, protecting and caring for the interests of the people.
People are very happy that over the past time, the Front has proactively contributed to building 248 schools for remote and isolated areas, implementing a set of unified textbooks, and free meals for children. The goal is that people must have food, clothing, and education, then independence is meaningful.
It is necessary to harmonize interests in multi-sector economic development. When different incomes lead to different living standards and lifestyles, the Front needs to make sure that the economic gap does not become a gap in patriotism. Every Vietnamese person, whether rich or poor, feels like a patriotic member of the Front" - Mr. Nguyen Tuc suggested.
Also according to Mr. Nguyen Tuc, to make the activities of the Front more effective, it is necessary to improve the quality of the advisory team and the Advisory Councils because to supervise and criticize well, there must be an advisory team that is both dedicated and visionary. It is necessary to filter and create material and spiritual conditions for professors and doctors in the Advisory Council to contribute and criticize policies and guidelines.
It is necessary to focus on fostering professional skills for Front officials at all levels. In fact, many Deputy Secretaries of Provincial Party Committees are Chairmen of the Front, but if they are not deep in Front professional skills, it is very worrying. Finally, I want to reiterate a story: Doing Front work is actually handling social relationships. Leadership is not just about doing professional work, but handling relationships so that everyone brings all their enthusiasm, dedication, talent, and intelligence to serve the country" - Mr. Nguyen Tuc emphasized.
Accepting the heartfelt and responsible opinions of the delegates attending the Workshop No. 1, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman - Secretary General of the VFF Central Committee of the X term Ha Thi Nga requested departments and units of the Central Committee of the VFF Central Committee to receive and complete; and at the same time wished that in the coming time, not only in the forum of the congress, but also at the Conferences, delegates continue to participate in giving opinions so that the Front can listen to many opinions from experts, scientists, and typical individuals to promote the role of the Fatherland Front in consolidating the strength of great national unity to jointly aim for the 100-year goal of our country building a strong and prosperous country in the new era.
