Thoroughly grasping the theme 1: The core contents of the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that recently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and 5 socio-political organizations have completed the organization of the Congress.
In which, the core spirit of the XI Congress document of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has inherited the basic and outstanding points of the 2024-2029 term; thoroughly and specifically grasped the Resolution of the XIV Party Congress, Resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo; new thinking about the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new era; innovated methods, went into substance, towards grassroots levels, close to the people, close to the people; consistently with the whole nation towards two 100-year goals.
Regarding direction, the Resolution strengthens the core political role, arouses the aspiration to develop the country; continues to comprehensively innovate in organization, content, and methods of operation; implement the presiding role of the Front, the proactive coordination and unified action of member organizations on the basis of promoting the strengths of each organization; practice democracy, promote social dialogue, strengthen monitoring and supervision; strengthen people-to-people diplomacy, expand international cooperation; implement substantive digital transformation with a long-term vision; strengthen training and fostering cadres, meeting the requirements in the new period.
Mr. Cao Xuan Thao said that the general objective of the Resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc, the strength of the people, strengthened social consensus, strongly awakened patriotic traditions, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's development goals to 2030 when our Party turns 100 years of establishment, realizing the development vision to 2045, and celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the State.
In which, the Resolution of the 11th Congress identified 15 specific targets, into 5 large groups: Target group on consolidating the great national unity bloc; target group on representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people; target group on supervision, social criticism, participation in building the Party, State and political system; target group on emulation movements, campaigns and caring for people's lives; target group on innovation of organizations, cadres and digital transformation.
In which, 3 breakthrough tasks are innovating methods, being close to the people, being close to the people, increasing action and practical effectiveness; proactively monitoring and social criticism from early on, from afar, accompanying and protecting the practical rights and interests of the People; building a team of professional, dedicated, brave, and capable cadres who are close to the people, close to the grassroots, and close to the digital space," Mr. Cao Xuan Thao emphasized.
Based on those objectives, the Resolution develops 7 action programs:
Promote propaganda, mobilization, gather all classes of people, strengthen social consensus, and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc.
Representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the People; improving the quality of supervision and social criticism; implementing democracy; participating in building the Party, State and political system.
Encouraging all strata of people to emulate in studying, working, creating, participating in socio-economic development, preserving and promoting national cultural traditions, caring for people's lives, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.
Promoting the role of mastery, the spirit of self-management of the People, building a united, safe, prosperous, and happy residential area.
Effectively implementing people-to-people diplomacy and international cooperation.
Innovate the content and methods of operation; complete and operate a streamlined specialized apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently; improve the capacity of the contingent of cadres.
Participate in developing science and technology, innovation, building a digital society; promote digital transformation in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system.
Regarding the Trade Union organization, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao proposed to thoroughly grasp the core content, attach responsibility to core members of the Front; select key contents, concretize them in the annual action plan; strengthen coordination and unified action in the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
