On July 2nd, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation announced that the contest "Understanding the Resolution of the Party Congress, the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress and the 97-year tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union" will officially take place from July 6th to July 26th, 2026. Contest participants are union members, workers, and laborers working in grassroots trade unions directly under the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation.

The exam content focuses on the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030; Resolution of the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union for the term 2026 - 2031; Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union for the term 2025 - 2030 and the 97-year tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
Contestants take the exam online on the website of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation at ldld. dongthap. gov. vn, log in with Facebook, Zalo or Google accounts.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest has a system of prizes for individuals weekly, individual overall prizes and collective prizes. Each week, 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize and 1 Third Prize will be awarded; in addition, there are also overall prizes and collective prizes for units with outstanding achievements.
The contest is organized to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), and at the same time create a widespread political activity, helping union members and workers improve their understanding of the resolutions of the Party, the Trade Union and the tradition of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour organization.
It is known that before merging the provincial-level administrative unit, the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation also launched a contest to learn about the Resolution of the 13th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, the Resolution of the 11th Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress. After 3 weeks of launching, there were 15,737 registrations, with 44,813 union members and workers participating in the contest.
