On August 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Thanh Ward said that the unit coordinated with the People's Committee of the Ward to organize many activities to care for, ensure social security and the movement of the entire people to protect national security, creating a vibrant atmosphere, spreading the spirit of solidarity in the community.
The series of activities aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward presented 30 gifts (including rice and 500,000 VND per gift) to take care of grassroots security forces in especially difficult circumstances, with a total cost of 18,000,000 VND.
At the same time, coordinate the organization of a free health consultation program and give gifts to 127 cadres, members, union members and people, with a total value of VND 23,495,000. Arrange a free hair cutting booth to serve people in need.
In particular, in order to encourage the handover of weapons, explosives, and support tools, the organizing committee presented gifts worth VND 7,000,000 to individuals who have fulfilled this duty.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward stated that the activities not only have the meaning of gratitude and practical care for the security forces and the people, but also contribute to strengthening the close relationship between the police and the people.
