Attending the Congress, on the central side were Mr. Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association; leaders of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Party Central Committee Office, the State President's Office, the National Assembly Office, the Government Office, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and related ministries and branches.
The Congress is an opportunity to share good experiences and effective ways of doing things; honor and replicate advanced examples, encourage and motivate Catholics to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, and fear of God and the existing human values and good traditions; be proactive and exemplary in emulation of labor, production, building cultural life, contributing to building an increasingly rich and beautiful country, civilized, entering a new era.
Over the past 5 years, the emulation movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and live a good life according to the law" associated with 8 contents launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Committee for Catholic Solidarity has achieved more practical results, with profound political, economic, cultural and social significance. The specific actions of Catholics are living proof of the spirit of patriotism and the tradition of solidarity, attachment and companionship with the nation, and the effective implementation of the 9 emulation launching contents at the 5th Emulation Conference, period 2015-2020.
There have been more and more good people and good deeds that are typical of advanced and excellent in production and economic development, helping each other to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, promote charity and humanitarian activities, and strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and laws, the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved, contributing to pushing back social evils; maintaining political and social stability, the face of the country and the parish is increasingly spacious and clean, the people are increasingly excited, confident in maintaining their religious beliefs and taking full responsibility as citizens, the strength of the national congress is increasingly consolidated and strengthened.
The implementation of emulation movements by the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committees at all levels has innovated in content and implementation methods; guided the patriotic emulation movement towards the grassroots, residential areas, with focus and key points; closely following the key tasks of the locality and the country. Thereby arousing the pride, dynamism and enthusiasm of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committees at all levels; becoming a driving force for striving to fulfill their tasks, building the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee to become increasingly strong.
Along with that, the work of propagating, commending and replicating advanced models has had positive changes, with coordination with media agencies in introducing and propagating outstanding advanced models. Many good examples, good deeds, and advanced models in emulation movements are spread among Catholics.
The reward work in most localities has been carried out seriously, promptly detecting and rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the activities of the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee at all levels. In the process of building and developing the country, emulation and reward work is an important and maintained content. Through emulation and reward, it is aimed at promoting human positivity, proactiveness, creativity and typical achievements and experiences, overcoming difficulties and limitations, and promoting the development movement.
