On June 18, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Phuoc Thang ward (HCMC) said that the unit is launching a fundraising walk program "Million Steps - One Heart", associated with mobilizing support for the "For the Poor" fund in 2026.
Expected to take place at 6 am on June 28, the activity is organized to raise awareness of health training in the community, while creating resources for social security care, contributing to the effective implementation of sustainable poverty reduction in the area.
Each step in participating in the program not only contributes to improving health but is also sharing and motivating difficult circumstances to rise up in life. Each contribution, whether large or small, is a noble gesture, contributing to building Phuoc Thang ward to become more and more civilized and meaningful, leaving no one behind.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thang ward, the program has received much support from units, philanthropists... accompanying and joining hands for the community. This is a great source of encouragement, showing the spirit of social responsibility, affection and sharing for those in difficult circumstances in life.
To make the program more practical and widely spread, the Phuoc Thang Ward VFF Committee calls on units, businesses, and people to continue to respond to participate in the program with practical actions such as: registering to participate in walking, mobilizing relatives and friends to participate; contributing and supporting the "For the Poor" Fund of the Ward VFF Committee. Thereby, promoting the spirit of "Good leaves protect torn leaves", "Love others as you love yourself", so that programs to care for and support the poor in 2026 achieve the highest results, contributing to better care for vulnerable people in the area.
