The activity is organized to respond to "Ao Dai Week" 2026, celebrating the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026) and the 1986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

Accordingly, the Women's Union of communes and wards in the province organizes folk dance programs in many cultural spaces and historical sites. Thereby, creating a lively atmosphere in the first days of March, attracting thousands of officials and women's union members to participate.
Folk dance performances are elaborately staged on the background of songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, and country such as "Vietnamese Freshness", "Coming to Vietnamese People I".

At Da Sy Lake, women's union members of Cat Tien 3 commune participated in folk dance performances and ao dai performances, honoring the graceful and confident beauty of Vietnamese women.
At the same time, at Pham Van Dong Square (Cat Tien commune), the local Women's Union organized a folk dance performance and awarded ao dai to members in difficult circumstances in the program "Giving Ao Dai - Sharing Love".

Meanwhile, at Lam Vien Square (Da Lat), the Women's Union of Xuan Huong wards - Da Lat, Lam Vien - Da Lat and Cam Ly - Da Lat coordinated to organize a folk dance performance and ao dai parade with the participation of a large number of members.
After the synchronized performance, hundreds of women in traditional ao dai costumes paraded on Tran Quoc Toan street, creating a colorful image, contributing to honoring the beauty of Vietnamese ao dai in community life.

The activity also contributes to spreading the movement of physical training and sports, improving spiritual life and responding to the 16th National Assembly election, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
