On March 6, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced that it is launching the 2026 Ao Dai Week in Trade Union levels in the province.

The activity is organized to celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2026), the 1,986th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and to celebrate the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Ms. Vu Thi Oanh - Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - said that the activity aims to continue to spread the value of Ao Dai - the traditional costume of Vietnamese women.

Thereby arousing pride, awareness of preserving and promoting national cultural identity among female officials, union members, and workers from offices to businesses.
This is also an opportunity to honor the graceful and elegant beauty of women throughout the province in labor, production and life.

From March 1 to March 8, grassroots trade unions in the province mobilized and encouraged female union members and workers to wear ao dai on their working days.
Wearing ao dai is implemented in accordance with the working environment, contributing to creating highlights and spreading the beautiful image of female union members in traditional ao dai.

Ms. Duong Thi Hanh - a teacher at Nguyen Trai Elementary School (Bao Loc) - shared: "Usually, we wear neat office attire to school. When the school launched the Vietnamese Ao Dai Week in response, all female teachers enthusiastically participated. Ao dai helps women become more gentle and graceful, contributing to preserving and promoting the beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai.

The atmosphere of response took place sôi nổi at many administrative agencies, non-business units, schools and businesses, bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere to women.
In many places, Ao Dai wearing activities are organized simultaneously, creating beautiful and graceful images of Vietnamese women.

Through practical activities, the Ao Dai Week launched by the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation not only honors the beauty of Vietnamese women but also contributes to raising awareness of union members and workers in preserving and promoting national cultural identity.
