The Congress approved the Political Report with the theme "Promoting the nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, the tradition of loyalty - solidarity - exemplary - innovation; building a strong and comprehensive Association organization, completing tasks excellently, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 1st Hai Chau Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030".
The Congress aims to evaluate the results of the activities of the Ward Veterans Association for the 2023-2028 term, through a political report and direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
The Ward Veterans Association (VPA) determined that in addition to the basic advantages, there are still many difficulties and challenges, which are: the world and regional situation continues to develop fiercely and complicatedly; hostile forces have increased their fierce fighting against, natural disasters and unpredictable epidemics that have affected the country's development and the lives of a part of the people, including the VPA.
The situation of streamlining the payroll, rearranging the organizational apparatus in the political system, merging administrative units according to the model of local government at 2 levels sets new and urgent requirements in the organization and operation of the Association. The number of veteran members who have gone through resistance wars has gradually decreased due to their old age and weakness being exempted from participating in activities, which has a certain impact on the movement and the work of building the Association.
Over the past term, the Ward Association of War Veterans has done a good job of coordination in implementing movements, programs, and campaigns of the locality and the Association.
Notably, there are the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind"; Programs "City 4 An, 5 No, 3 Yes" associated with the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement, the "All people protect security and order" movement.
In the "CCB Participates in Environmental Protection" movement, the Association has maintained monthly environmental sanitation activities of 17 CCB Environmental Clubs with 332 members, effectively participating in the "Winter-end resource waste collection" movement, "Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday", program "Da Nang City - Environmental City".
In the "All people protect national security and order" movement, the Association has mobilized thousands of cadres and members to participate in security and order maintenance activities during holidays, Tet, and important events of the country and localities; participate in drills to operate mechanisms and live-fire in the defense area of cities, districts, and wards according to Resolution 28-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
Organize care and help Veterans improve their material and spiritual lives, develop family finances, eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and get rich legally; organize acts of gratitude so that Veterans can help each other in life.
Protect the legitimate rights and interests of Veterans; propagate, disseminate, educate the law, provide legal advice and assistance to Veterans.
The Congress appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee and Head of Inspection Committee of Hai Chau Ward Association of Police, term I, 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Hai Chau Ward Association of War Veterans consists of 21 comrades. Of which, the Standing Committee has 7 comrades, comrade Huynh Ngoc Tri, holding the position of Chairman of the Ward Police Association, and comrade Huynh Van Thanh as Vice Chairman. The Association's Inspection Board consists of 5 comrades.
