Quang Tri launches support for people in the Central and Central Highlands affected by floods

Quang Tri launched a fundraising campaign to support people in the Central and Central Highlands affected by floods, calling on the whole province to join hands to share difficulties.

On November 24, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held a launching ceremony to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by floods.

Attending the program were Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Vu Khiem; representatives of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; provincial-level socio-political organizations; Provincial Party Inspection Committee; representatives of affiliated Party committees and leaders of wards, communes and special zones.

At the launching ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong called on cadres, party members, union members, members, armed forces, business community and people in the province to promote the tradition of solidarity and join hands to support localities that are suffering heavy damage due to floods.

Immediately after the call, the delegates directly participated in the donation, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and supporting the people of the Central and Central Highlands to soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
