In the afternoon of February 22, a working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Lao Cai province led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh - Vice Chairman of the VFF Committee of the province visited, encouraged, and shared condolences with the families of the deceased in the waterway traffic accident that occurred on the evening of February 21 in Lang Can village, Bao Ai commune.
At the families of victims Hoang Duc M (born 2015) and Hoang Thi H (born 1970), both residing in Ngoi Song village, Cam Nhan commune, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh and members of the delegation offered incense to commemorate and sent deep condolences.
At the same time, he also encouraged relatives to try to overcome the loss and soon stabilize their spirits and lives.

The working delegation presented support of 25 million VND to each household from the province's relief fund to promptly share and help families alleviate immediate difficulties.
In addition, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bao Ai and Cam Nhan communes also supported families with deceased people with 5 million VND/person.
Previously, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province directed the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Cam Nhan commune to visit and encourage the families of victims in the boat capsizing on Thac Ba Lake on the evening of February 21.
Representatives of the victims' families expressed their emotion at the timely attention of all levels and sectors; and said they would strive to overcome the pain and stabilize their lives.
Previously, at 7:15 pm on February 21, two ships with registration numbers YB0876H and YB0919 collided on Thac Ba Lake. Ship YB0876H carrying 23 people moved in the direction of Yen Binh - Cam Nhan; ship YB0919 carrying 515 tons of stone went in the opposite direction.
As a result, ship YB0876H sank, 6 people went missing, and 17 people were rescued.
All passengers in the train capsizing were brothers and relatives in Ngoi Song village, Cam Nhan commune.
