The model aims to comprehensively support livelihoods for 213 poor households, award scholarships and school supplies to 100% of poor students in the implemented areas, and at the same time build a number of community humanitarian projects marking the 80th anniversary of the Association's establishment.
This is considered an important development step, shifting from individual support to accessing community development support in a sustainable and in-depth manner. On this occasion, the Central Association supported more than 5.1 billion VND to implement humanitarian assistance activities in the above areas to implement the "Community of Compassion - Connecting Love" model.
After 5 years of official implementation (2021-2025), Humanitarian Month has achieved outstanding results, with total mobilized resources reaching over 3, 182 billion VND, supporting more than 6.6 million turns of people in difficult circumstances across the country. These results not only reflect the effectiveness of resource mobilization, but also show the widespread spread of the spirit of "mutual affection" in society, as well as the increasingly clear role of the Vietnam Red Cross Society as the core force, bridge and coordinator in humanitarian work.
