Letter calling for Support for Humanitarian Month 2026

|

Agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and Vietnamese compatriots at home and abroad

In recent years, with the tradition of great national unity, the spirit of "mutual affection and love" and noble international responsibility, agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists, and our compatriots at home and abroad have always accompanied, shared, actively and promptly supported compatriots at home and international friends when facing difficulties and hardships.

Implementing the policy of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee, "Humanity Month" (May every year) is the peak of action for the community, helping people in difficulty, propagating humanitarian values and is an opportunity to connect organizations, businesses, and individuals to join hands in spreading love. "Humanity Month" this year is even more meaningful as 2026 is the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, I respectfully call on agencies, organizations, businesses, philanthropists and Vietnamese compatriots at home and abroad to actively respond and join hands to support, with the following focuses:

1. Creating sustainable livelihoods and social security in the country: Supporting capital and production tools; building solid humanitarian works; supporting health care, first aid and timely relief for people affected by natural disasters.

2. Affirming international humanitarian responsibility: Joining hands to support people in countries heavily affected by natural disasters, epidemics and instability, especially traditional friendly countries; contributing to building the image of a humane, responsible and peace-loving Vietnam.

All contributions please send to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society - the core agency assigned to receive, manage and coordinate directly, committed to ensuring publicity, transparency, targeting the right people and the highest efficiency.
