On the afternoon of July 31, the Gia Loc Commune Party Committee held a spring session approved by the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is an important event, not only for the Party Committee and people of Gia Loc commune but also has the meaning of being an example for other localities across the city to refer to and learn from.
Attending and directing the advisory session were Mr. Le Tri Vu - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Hai Phong City Party Committee's Organization Committee, Head of Working Group No. 7; leaders of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee; Standing representatives of 68 commune party committees throughout the city; along with 225 outstanding delegates from 57 departments and party committees under the commune, representing 2,699 party members in the entire Party Committee.
At the admission session, the Congress conducted personnel and organization contents, including: electing the Presidium, the Secretariat and the Delegation of Delegation Reviewing Committee; approving the program, rules, and working regulations; reporting and synthesizing comments on draft important documents such as the 14th National Party Congress Documents, the City Party Congress Documents and draft documents of the Commune Party Congress.
Delegates were divided into 4 groups to discuss and give in-depth comments on documents, and at the same time agreed on many important contents to prepare for the official session.
The 1st Gia Loc Commune Party Congress is tasked with summarizing the 2020-2025 term, analyzing the results achieved as well as limitations, causes and lessons learned; thereby setting out directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
This is also an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of innovation, unity of will and aspiration for local development in the context of Gia Loc commune officially coming into operation under the new administrative unit model.
The official session of the Congress will open on the morning of August 1.
