On November 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province held the 14th Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Information at the congress, during the 2019-2024 term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Cao Bang province has made efforts to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely following political tasks and enhancing the role of supervision and social criticism. Major movements and campaigns are being implemented synchronously, focusing on the grassroots, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

Many programs continue to promote their effectiveness such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The whole province has mobilized 50 tons of cement and more than 15,000 working days to support 3,260 households to improve their housing. The "For the Poor" Fund and socialized resources have presented more than 44,200 Tet gifts with a total value of over VND23.9 billion.

Relief and humanitarian work has been promptly implemented with a total support value of more than 450 billion VND and nearly 2,000 tons of necessities; of which 338 billion VND and all relief goods have been allocated to help people in the province and localities affected by natural disasters.

The Provincial Fatherland Front also completed the streamlining of the organizational apparatus, including 10 departments, 1 public service unit and 13 mass organizations.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga acknowledged the efforts of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and emphasized that in the coming term, it is necessary to continue to promote the advisory role, concretize Resolution No. 43 on strengthening the strength of national solidarity. At the same time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels must proactively fight against dividing arguments, promote digital transformation, improve the quality of supervision, criticism and effectively implement the "Listen to the People" model.

The Congress unanimously elected 106 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 14th Province; Mr. Vu Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang Province. The Congress also sent a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term.
