HCMC - About 30 tons of goods from HCMC were transported to Hue and Da Nang, supporting people affected by the historic flood.

On November 3, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee continued to transport about 30 tons of goods, promptly supporting people affected by floods in Hue and Da Nang. The items include rice, instant noodles, drinking water, solar energy lamps, new clothes, blankets, scarves, medical equipment and disinfectants...

This support period allocates to Da Nang City 493 boxes of necessities, 200 boxes of towel covers and 10 tons of rice; Hue City 269 boxes of necessities, 235 boxes of towel covers and 10 tons of rice.

Regarding the work of receiving and distributing donations to people affected by storms and floods, as of November 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee has received 14,720 donations with a total amount of VND 204,470,498,909 and promptly deployed support to 18 provinces and cities with a total cost of VND 147 billion. Localities receiving support include Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Bac Ninh, Quang Tri, Dien Bien, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hung Yen, Dong Thap, Hue, Da Nang and Quang Ngai.

Regarding goods, the unit has mobilized and received 731 boxes of household medicine bags (11,096 bags), 70 tons of rice; 4,619 boxes of necessities; 535 boxes of blankets, blankets, gas, and scarves with a total value of more than 5 billion VND and promptly distributed them to people in localities affected by storms and floods.
