On the morning of March 21, Mr. Trinh Van Thao, Chairman of Bao Lam 1 Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that the locality had provided support of more than 180 million VND to the family of Mr. Nguyen Tan and Ms. Ngo Thi Dinh Trinh.
Mr. Tan and his wife, Ms. Trinh, are victims in the house fire that occurred on the night of March 14 in hamlet 9 Loc Ngai (Bao Lam 1 commune). Currently, the two victims are being actively treated at Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) in a state of severe burns of more than 90%.

After the incident occurred, Bao Lam 1 Commune People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and mass organizations to launch a call for support.
Through mobilization, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune received 100 million VND and directly visited, encouraged, and presented it to the family at the hospital.

In addition, people in village 9 Loc Ngai (Bao Lam 1 commune) also donated more than 80 million VND to provide additional support.
Timely support from the government and the community has contributed to helping the family have more treatment conditions and overcome difficult times.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on the night of March 14, when Mr. Tan and Ms. Trinh were sleeping, a house of about 40m2 located in a coffee garden suddenly caught fire fiercely.
Because inside there were many flammable items along with gasoline and gas cylinders, the fire quickly spread, then exploded, causing the house to collapse.
When taken to Lam Dong Hospital II for emergency treatment, both victims suffered severe burns to about 90% of their bodies. After first aid, doctors transferred the patient to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment.
Mr. Tan and Ms. Trinh's family are in particularly difficult circumstances, residing in Dak Lak. Previously, the couple sent their two young children to their grandparents in their hometown to go to Lam Dong to work as hired laborers, and not long after, a fire occurred.
