On September 14, the People's Committee of Tra On commune and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of the commune coordinated with sponsors to organize a program to give gifts to encourage students to go to school at Tra On Secondary School.
At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances. Each gift included a school uniform and 10kg of rice, worth nearly 300,000 VND, sponsored by Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien (resident of hamlet 1, Tra On commune).
The program is implemented through the connection of Mr. Tran Thanh Dai - Deputy Head of the Veterans Association of Hamlet 1, Tra On Commune. Practical gifts contribute to supporting families of students who are still in difficulty. Through this, children have more conditions to go to school, feel secure in their studies and strive to rise up in life. The activity also spreads the spirit of mutual affection, the community's joint efforts in caring for poor students.
From the beginning of August 2026 to now, Tra On commune has connected and awarded more than 200 scholarships, 100 bicycles and many school supplies to students in difficult circumstances.
The locality also mobilized to donate lanterns and Mid-Autumn cakes to poor and studious students, with a total value of activities of more than 800 million VND.
These activities contribute to helping disadvantaged students reduce the burden at the beginning of the school year, maintain their studies and have more conditions to celebrate a warm Mid-Autumn Festival with family, teachers, and friends.
