On the morning of February 5th, in Ngoc Thien commune, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ngoc Thien commune organized a program to give Tet gifts to poor households in the commune on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Attending and directly giving gifts were comrades: Nguyen Viet Oanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thach Van Chung, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of leaders of the Department of Justice, Provincial People's Council and leaders of Tan Yen district.

Implementing Plan No. 01/KH-UBND dated January 6, 2026 of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to visit and give gifts to people with meritorious services, poor households and social protection beneficiaries, the program is organized to share difficulties, encourage families to rise up in life, and celebrate a joyful and warm traditional Tet.
At the program, provincial and commune leaders and businesses directly presented 136 gifts to 136 poor households in Ngoc Thien commune, each gift worth 1.3 million VND.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council sent New Year greetings of health, peace, and prosperity to all local people.
The comrade emphasized that although the material value of the gifts is not too large, they show the spirit of "Mutual Love", the deep concern of the Party Committee, government and people from all walks of life for those in difficult circumstances, helping families have more conditions to celebrate a more fulfilling Tet.
Representatives of local authorities and households expressed their sincere thanks for the timely attention of provincial leaders, departments, branches and the business community. This is a great source of spiritual encouragement for poor households to strive to work and produce, and stabilize their lives in the new year.
