On July 26, Mr. Duong Tan Long - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province and local leaders visited, encouraged and presented support to households affected by the house fire that occurred in Trum village (A Doi commune, Quang Tri province).
At the place visited, comrade Duong Tan Long, on behalf of the provincial leaders, kindly visited and shared with the families who were unfortunately affected by the fire, hoping that the people would soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. In order to promptly encourage and support the affected people, the working group presented a total of 120 million VND to households affected by the fire.

Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 2:00 a.m. on July 23, the stilt house of Mr. Ho Van K Roi (born in 1999, residing in Trum village, A Doi commune) suddenly caught fire. At this time, Mr. Roi's wife, Ms. Ho Thi Thum (born in 1998) and 3 young children were sleeping in the house. Discovering the fire breaking out from the corner of the house, Ms. Thum quickly shouted and brought the children out safely.
Due to the strong southwest wind, along with the wooden stilt house, the fire quickly spread to the house next to Mr. Ho Van Thuong (born in 2000), Mr. Roi's younger brother.
After receiving the report, Ba Tang Border Guard Station and Ba Tang Commune Police mobilized forces and fire fighting equipment, combined with transporting water from the stream to the scene. However, due to the fire breaking out too quickly, the two houses were completely burned down.
