On July 17, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) in coordination with the Department of Political Affairs (Ministry of Public Security) organized a program to examine, distribute medicine, give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families, give scholarships to students with difficult circumstances to study well and support funding to build houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Hung Yen province.
With the coordination of units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Hung Yen Provincial Police, a series of social activities of gratitude in Hung Yen province includes activities of visiting and giving gifts to 250 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; war invalids, policy families; visiting, examining, consulting on health, giving medicine to policy families in Hoang Hoa Tham commune, in place of gratitude, respect, and deep gratitude of members, women and officers and soldiers of the People's Police to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs, war invalids and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
In parallel with showing gratitude to previous generations, the program also gave library gifts to the school; gave gifts and scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties, were green shoots full of determination, and knew how to rise up in difficult circumstances to continue studying, practicing, and looking forward to the future.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, said: The Union always identifies the work of "Retribution of gratitude" as a key task, throughout the Union at all levels.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen expressed her deep gratitude and hoped that the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, brothers, comrades who have contributed to the revolution, and relatives of martyrs will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, believing in the generations of women today who are striving and actively contributing to the cause of national construction.
Along with that, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen suggested that the Women's Union of the Ministry of Public Security and the Women's Union of Hung Yen province continue to promote their core role, proactive and creative spirit in the work of "Gratitude and response", charitable humanitarian activities of the locality and unit; arouse pride, solidarity, compassion and the desire to contribute in each Vietnamese citizen; promote the role of cadres, members, women in the People's Public Security force and women nationwide, contributing to building an increasingly humane and humane society.

Also on July 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Su (born in 1933) in Giai Le village, Tien Hoa commune, Hung Yen and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Gung (born in 1920) in Trinh My village, Hoang Hoa Tham commune, Hung Yen province.
