The workshop took place on the 110th anniversary of the birth of comrade Ly Tu Trong - the first communist youth union member.
The workshop was attended by 200 Ha Tinh province union members and 681,700 union officials and youth union members at home and abroad; connected online to 8,914 domestic and foreign connection points, including connection points in China, Cuba, France...
The workshop was divided into 3 contents including: Ly Tu Trong's Spirit - Lessons for today's youth; Ly Tu Trong with his hometown Ha Tinh and Ly Tu Trong's Spirit - Aspiration of Vietnamese youth in the new era.
Mr. Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, speaking at the opening of the conference, emphasized that Ly Tu Trong heroically sacrificed himself at the age of 17, but his indomitable spirit terrified the enemy and added great strength and motivation to the revolutionary movement throughout the country.
His immortal saying "The path of youth is only the revolutionary path, there can be no other path" has become an ideal of life, a spiritual weapon, and a guiding principle for action for Vietnamese youth of all periods.
The workshop is an opportunity for the Youth Union at all levels nationwide, the Party Committee and the people of Ha Tinh to continue following the example of Ly Tu Trong, promoting patriotic emulation movements; spreading the desire to contribute in each member and youth, promoting the vanguard role on all fronts, contributing to building the homeland and the country.
At the workshop, delegates listened to 13 presentations and speeches, clarifying the life and revolutionary career of comrade Ly Tu Trong - a young man with a courageous spirit, dedicating his entire youth to the revolutionary ideals of the Party, a shining example for the younger generation to learn and follow.
From there, educate union cadres, union members, and youth about patriotism, revolutionary pride, and gratitude to generations who sacrificed their blood for the cause of national liberation; continue the revolutionary spirit to strive to study, practice, work, and contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland in the current period.
