On July 26, the Steering Committee for "Implementing the All-People Movement to Protect National Security" of Vinh Long province organized the 2026 All-People Day to Protect National Security at Cuu Long University. This is a unit selected to be a pilot organization of the province, with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of Vinh Long province and a large number of officials, lecturers, and students.
Attending the festival were Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Head of the Central Steering Committee for "Implementing the movement of all people protecting national security"; along with leaders of professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security. On the side of Vinh Long province were Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tri Quang, leaders of the Provincial Police and departments and branches.
Speaking to direct at the festival, Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen acknowledged and praised the outstanding results of the all-people movement to protect national security in Vinh Long and Cuu Long University.
The Deputy Minister of Public Security requested all levels and sectors to continue to innovate the content and methods of building the movement; strengthen the application of digital transformation, replicate models of self-prevention, self-management, and self-protection; build a safe educational environment, free from crime, free from drugs, contributing to maintaining security and order in the new situation.
Representative of the school, Distinguished Teacher, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of Cuu Long University - affirmed that he will continue to promote the effectiveness of models to ensure security and order, promote legal propaganda, build a safe and healthy school environment, contributing to the effective implementation of the movement "All people protect national security".
On this occasion, the Ministry of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit to the collective of Cuu Long University; Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 2 individuals;... The Central Steering Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee and the Provincial Police also presented many gifts to officials, lecturers, and students in difficult circumstances and with achievements in the movement.
