Vung Tau selects plant varieties and ornamental flowers to deploy 2 green projects

Ho Chi Minh City - The implementation of green projects in Vung Tau ward will contribute to bringing a healthy and civilized living space to people and tourists.

On July 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Vung Tau ward (HCMC) coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the ward to survey standard crops and ornamental flowers to prepare for the deployment of "green projects" in the area.

In which, the survey team focused on assessing the quality, adaptability, and resistance of trees to soil and climate characteristics in the locality; in order to ensure that the source of trees when brought for sowing achieves a high survival rate, good growth and convenience for care after implementation.

According to the VFFC of Vung Tau ward, after surveying, some plants and ornamental flowers will be selected to be deployed at 2 key "green projects", according to the joint plan between the People's Committee and the VFFC of Vung Tau ward. That is the "Great Unity Garden" project in the Doi Con Heo area (alley 220 Phan Chu Trinh upwards) and the landscape construction project "Vung Tau with myriad colors of flowers" in Ao Ca park area (at the Phan Chu Trinh - Vo Thi Sau intersection).

The survey activity is an important starting point in proactively preparing to implement "green projects". At the same time, it has practical significance, responding to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam". Thereby, soon completing green projects, contributing to bringing a healthy and civilized living space to people and tourists in Vung Tau ward.
