On June 29th, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Loc commune organized a flag salute ceremony at the beginning of the week combined with a tire collection festival to save and contribute to the "For the Poor" Fund and the "For the Homeland's Sea and Islands - For the Frontline of the Fatherland" Fund (phase 2) in 2026.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Cao Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Council; Mr. Thai Thanh Tam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chau - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, along with leaders of departments, branches, unions, police and military forces, cadres, civil servants, public employees, laborers and the Fatherland Front Work Committees of hamlets.
Responding to the campaign, 61 Fatherland Front Working Committees of hamlets simultaneously opened tire tires to contribute to the two funds. As a result, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Loc commune received a total of 297,040,000 VND, supplementing resources to serve the work of caring for the poor, implementing social security programs and activities towards the sea, islands, and the front lines of the Fatherland.
Previously, on June 22, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune also received 187,470,000 VND from agencies, units, schools, directly affiliated party cells and the Fatherland Front Work Committees of hamlets to respond to contributions to the two funds.
According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Loc commune, the organization of the flag salute ceremony combined with the saving piggy bank collection festival is a practical activity to spread the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and raise the sense of responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and laborers. At the same time, this is also an important resource contributing to caring for disadvantaged people, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc and effectively implementing social security work in the area.
