On February 13, Dr. Vu Van Tien, Member of the Presidium, Member of the Party Committee Executive Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), Secretary of the Party Cell, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the VFF, Deputy Chairman of the Advisory Council on Science, Technology and Digital Transformation of the VFF Central Committee visited and presented Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households in Tran Phu commune, Hai Phong city.
At the Conference, Dr. Vu Van Tien directly presented 50 gifts from the "For the Poor" Fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to poor and near-poor households in Tran Phu commune. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND (including 1 million VND in cash and a Tet gift bag worth 300,000 VND).
This is the second time this Tet holiday that Dr. Vu Van Tien has visited and given gifts in the locality. Previously, with the feeling of a son towards his roots, Mr. Vu Van Tien personally also presented 100 gifts (each gift including warm blankets, gift bags and 300,000 VND in cash) to support people to celebrate Tet more fully.
This year is also the 10th consecutive year that Dr. Vu Van Tien has maintained charity activities, joining hands with the government to take care of Tet for the people in Nam Sach district in the past and Tran Phu commune today.
Dr. Vu Van Tien is a son of Linh Khe village, Tran Phu commune. Having held many positions in central agencies before and currently as a member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Vu Van Tien always shows firm political bravery, high sense of responsibility and closeness to the grassroots level. Through practical work, he has had many advisory opinions and proposals associated with people's lives, especially in the fields of people's livelihood and social security, contributing to caring for life and consolidating the great national unity bloc.
Currently, Dr. Vu Van Tien is running for National Assembly Deputy of the 16th term, term 2026 - 2031 and continues to express his desire to contribute to the process of building and perfecting the system of policies and laws, for the sustainable development of the country in general, and localities in particular, and the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
