On the afternoon of September 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment held a meeting to respond to storm No. 10 Bualoi.
According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, tonight, September 26, the storm will enter the eastern sea area of the Central East Sea and become the 10th storm of 2025.
Directing the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment - emphasized that the appearance of two overlapping storms could create a phenomenon of multiple natural disasters, leading to heavy damage to people, property and infrastructure.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment also made the latest comments on the intensity and impact of storm No. 10 Bualoi.
First, this is a storm that moves very quickly, twice as fast as normal
Typically, the speed is only about 15 km/h, but this time it has reached 30 km/h, showing that this is an especially dangerous storm.
Second, storm No. 10 Bualoi gets stronger as it gets closer to shore
This is a particularly important and dangerous factor that needs to be widely communicated. This is completely different from storm No. 9, which weakened when it made landfall. With storm No. 10, up to this point there is no sign that the storm will decrease in intensity, on the contrary, it is likely to continue to strengthen.
Third, the scope of impact of storm No. 10 is very wide
Currently, wind and rain are forecast to extend from Ninh Binh to Ha Tinh. In addition, the storm also caused heavy rain in the upstream of Laos. It is very rare for a storm to move so quickly but when it reaches deep in the mainland of Laos, it still maintains the intensity of the storm, not weakening into a low pressure as is usually the law. These factors show the special level of danger of storm No. 10.
The Deputy Minister said that according to the assessment, storm No. 10 will start affecting the mainland area from the evening of September 28, lasting until the early morning of September 29.
''Therefore, the evacuation of people in areas expected to be affected, especially from Thanh Hoa onwards, must be completed before 9:00 p.m. on September 28. In other words, we need to take proactive action earlier and faster to ensure safety'', the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment emphasized.
