Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. (November 9), the center of the storm was located at about 18.8 degrees north latitude; 115 degrees east longitude, in the North East Sea, about 430km northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 14 (150 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17. Moving west-northwest, speed about 15 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, storm No. 7 will move west-northwest at a speed of about 15km/h. At 7:00 a.m. on November 10, the center of the storm will be at about 19.4 degrees north latitude - 112.1 degrees east longitude in the northwest sea of the North East Sea, about 350km north of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 12, gusting to level 16.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, storm No. 7 will move southwest at a speed of about 10 - 15 km/h, gradually weakening. At 7:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of the storm will be at about 17.5 degrees north latitude - 110.5 degrees east longitude; about 190 km north-northwest of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the storm center is level 10, gusting to level 13.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the tropical depression will move southwest at a speed of 10km/h, weakening further. At 7:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of the tropical depression will be at about 15.9 degrees north latitude - 109.1 degrees east longitude; over the sea of Quang Tri - Quang Ngai.
The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6, gusting to level 8.
From the next 72 to 96 hours, the tropical depression moved southwest, traveling about 10km per hour and weakened into a low pressure area.
At sea, in the North East Sea, strong winds level 8 - 11, near the storm center level 12 - 14, gusts level 17, waves 4 - 6m high, near the center 7 - 9m; rough seas.
