Mr. Tuan requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with localities to review and make a list of fishing vessels that are not qualified for exploitation to have strict management measures. Ship that is not registered, inspected, or licensed will not be exploited. In particular, for fishing vessels that are not qualified and are anchored or operating at ports outside the province, they must send documents requesting relevant localities to coordinate in controlling and not allowing them to participate in seafood exploitation.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Border Guard Command to coordinate with the functional forces of the provinces to strengthen inspection and strictly handle cases of unqualified fishing vessels still departing from ports. Direct Border Control Stations and Stations to control 100% of fishing vessels entering and leaving, and be responsible to the Provincial Chairman if any violations occur.
Binh Dinh Provincial Police strengthen investigation and strictly handle organizations and individuals who broker and organize fishing vessels and fishermen to illegally exploit aquatic products in foreign waters. At the same time, closely monitor high-risk subjects and prevent violations early.
In Phu My district alone, the Chairman of Binh Dinh province requested the locality to immediately review the list of 17 fishing vessels with a length of 15m or more that have not installed voyage monitoring equipment. Require ship owners to install new equipment for exploitation.
The Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee emphasized that localities must establish interdisciplinary working groups, including authorities, police, and border guards to manage and monitor the anchorage locations of fishing vessels, ensuring that there are no vessels that are not qualified to operate.
In particular, the Chairman of Binh Dinh Province requested localities to direct the implementation, not to organize the organization and apparatus affecting the task of fighting against IUU exploitation. At the same time, resolutely strictly handle the responsibility of organizations and individuals that do not complete the tasks; Hand to tolerate IUU exploitation behavior, affecting the overall effort to remove the "yellow card" warning of the whole country.
