On March 29, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan directed units, localities, and investors to focus on speeding up site clearance (GPMB) for rest stops under the North - South Expressway Project in the East phase 2021 - 2025, the section passing through the province.
Mr. Tuan assigned Phu My district and Hoai Nhon town to direct relevant parties to speed up the completion of compensation and support for site clearance for rest stops on the North - South expressway through the province, to hand over the site to the investor to implement the project in April 2025.
"Project Management Board 85 and 2 coordinate with units and localities to promptly resolve problems arising in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance for rest stop works," Mr. Pham Anh Tuan suggested.
The Chairman of Binh Dinh province assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant units and localities to inspect, urge and resolve problems in implementing site clearance for rest stops, ensuring the overall progress of the project.
Regarding compensation, site clearance and resettlement for the North-South expressway project, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang met and directed the resolution of some remaining problems, affecting the progress of some project items.
He requested Hoai Nhon town to work and encourage 4 households, including: Le Thi Thuong and Nguyen Thi Loc (residing in Hoai Hao ward), Le Thanh Tu (residing in Hoai Thanh Tay ward), Thai Van Chuong (residing in Hoai Tan ward) not to obstruct the construction. If households do not comply, the locality must coordinate with relevant units to develop a construction protection plan to ensure completion in March 2025.
An Nhon town urgently organizes enforcement or construction protection for Tran Quang Tuan household to implement the construction of branch road 2 at the National Highway 19 intersection, to be completed in March 2025.
Along with that, localities and the Provincial Land Fund Development Center need to review and register funding for site clearance, and recommend investors (Project Management Board 2, 85) to promptly arrange capital to pay to households and organizations. All existing problems and problems in the site clearance must be completely resolved.
In addition, authorities need to closely coordinate with investors to inspect, confirm and resolve recommendations to add items such as: Service roads, residential roads, technical sewer systems, "flooded and damaged" conditions, cracks in houses, plans to relocate residential power lines... to ensure the rights of affected people.
