From now until the next 3 hours (from 3:50 p.m. on September 19), the above areas will have showers and thunderstorms, then expand to Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Tay Ho, Hai Ba Trung and other inner-city areas of Hanoi city. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
In the late afternoon and evening of September 19, the area from South Quang Tri to Lam Dong and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 80mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 60mm within 3 hours.
During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
