Previously, on January 12, due to the influence of cold air from the North, the temperature at the top of O Quy Ho pass dropped to near 0 degrees, ice and snow covered the hills and the treetops were frozen.
At the same time, in the area of Tram Ton mountain, Thac Bac and Ta Phin commune on O Quy Ho pass (in Lao Cai province), the temperature also dropped to 0 degrees Celsius, causing frost to appear and cover roofs and trees.
