On November 19, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province said that it had just coordinated with the People's Committee of Tuy Phong commune to inspect the reservoirs at the project of Viet Farm Company on Tan Lai mountain.
By November 18, Viet Farm Company had complied with the demolition of at least 2 remaining large reservoirs in the project. After the enterprise drains the water in ponds and lakes in the project, the authorities will supervise the demolition of dams to prevent water.

Previously, on November 6, Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee issued an urgent dispatch, requesting Viet Farm Company to drain all reservoirs and demolish dams to prevent water in the project, to be completed before November 7. This request was made after the reservoir broke at the project on the evening of November 1.
Up to now, the locality has counted and recorded 374 households, with more than 125 hectares of land, crops, crops, and livestock affected and damaged after the lake burst on Tan Lai mountain.

Tuy Phong Commune People's Committee said that the houses of people affected by the reservoir burst on the night of November 1 have been cleaned up. The households that were slightly affected continued to produce.
The water reservoir break at the project of Trang Trai Viet Phong Phu Trading Company Limited on the evening of November 1, causing water to pour into residential areas and agricultural production areas of the people.
As a result, the 13-year-old girl died. Of the 6 existing reservoirs in the project, the reservoir where the break occurred was the largest, about 20 hectares, belonging to a medium-sized reservoir.
According to the provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment, the reservoir of Trang Trai Viet Trading Company Limited is not included in the construction permit, has not had an environmental impact assessment report and has not been technically assessed.
