Updated from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 AM on July 24, the storm's center was located at about 18.3 degrees North latitude - 124.2 degrees East longitude, about 210km east of Luzon Island (Philippines).

The strongest wind near the storm center is strong at level 8 (62-74 km/h), gusting at level 10. The storm moves in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of about 25 km/h.

Forecast for the next 24 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, at a speed of about 25 km/h and is likely to strengthen further. Around tonight and early tomorrow morning (July 25), the storm will move into the East Sea.

By 7:00 AM on July 25, the storm's center will be located at about 20.6 degrees North latitude - 119 degrees East longitude; over the Northeast sea area of the Northern East Sea.

Wind intensity is strong at level 9-10, gusts at level 12. The dangerous area is in the area from latitude 18.5 degrees North to 22 degrees North latitude; east of longitude 117.5 degrees East longitude. The disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

Forecast for the next 48 hours, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h and is likely to strengthen further. By 7:00 AM on July 26, the storm's center will be located at about 22.6 degrees North latitude - 115.7 degrees East longitude; in the coastal sea area of Guangdong province (China).

Wind intensity is strong at level 10-11, gusting at level 13. The dangerous area is located about the north of latitude 19 degrees North latitude; east of longitude 114 degrees East longitude. The disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

From the next 48 to 72 hours, the storm will move in a North-Northwest direction, at a speed of 15-20 km/h and gradually weaken into a tropical depression. By 7:00 AM on July 27, the center of the tropical depression will be located at about 25.8 degrees North latitude - 114 degrees East longitude; on land in Guangdong province (China).

Wind intensity is strong at level 7, gusting at level 9. The dangerous area is located about the north of the 21st parallel of the North latitude; from the 114th parallel of the East longitude to 118th parallel of the East longitude. The disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea.

From 72 to 96 hours later, the tropical depression will move mainly in the North direction, traveling 15-20km per hour and gradually weakening into a low pressure area.

Regarding the impact of the storm, at sea, from the evening of July 24, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea area will gradually have winds increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9, sea waves 3-5m high; the area near the storm center will be strong at level 10-11, gusting at level 13, sea waves 4-6m high. The sea is violently rough.

Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, and large waves.
