During the day and night of November 5, cold air continues to affect other places in the North Central region, some places in the Northwest and Central Central regions. Northeast winds inland are strong at level 2-3, coastal areas at level 3-4.
The Northeast and North Central regions are cold, and some mountainous regions in the North are cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North and North Central regions is generally between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius; the average temperature during the day is between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius. Some mountainous regions are below 16 degrees Celsius.
Hanoi area has rain in some places; cold weather with the lowest temperature commonly 19 - 21 degrees Celsius.
During the day and night of November 6, the Northeast and North Central regions will be cold, and some mountainous areas in the North will be cold. The lowest temperature during this cold spell in the North and North Central regions will generally be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius; the average temperature during the day will be between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius. Some mountainous areas will be below 16 degrees Celsius.
Due to the influence of disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone combined with the strengthening of cold air, the area from Ha Tinh to Phu Yen will have widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.
Heavy rain and localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
At sea, Gulf of Tonkin, on November 5, there will be strong northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-3m high; wind will gradually decrease at night.
North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago) strong northeast wind level 6 - 7, gust level 8 - 9; rough sea; waves 3 - 5m high.
Offshore waters from Quang Tri to Binh Dinh, northern waters of the central East Sea have strong northeast winds at level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2-4m high.
Strong winds and large waves at sea are likely to affect boating and other activities.
