According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather in some sea areas is developing unfavorably. In the coming days, when cold air spills down, it will continue to affect sea weather.
Currently, the eastern sea area of the Northern East Sea and Huyen Tran station have strong northeast winds at level 6.
On the night of January 29 and January 30, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea will have strong northeast to easterly winds at level 6, gusts at level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
The sea area from Lam Dong to Ho Chi Minh City and the western sea area of the South East Sea (including the western Truong Sa special zone) have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7; rough seas; tomorrow the wind will gradually decrease.
On the night of January 30 and January 31, the northeast sea area of the Northern East Sea will have strong easterly to northeast winds of level 6, gusts of level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
Near dawn and January 31st, due to the impact of cold air, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the northeast wind turns strong at level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting at level 7 - 8; rough seas; sea waves are 1 - 2m high.
From February 1st, the Northern East Sea area (including Hoang Sa special zone), the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Ca Mau and the sea area west of the Southern East Sea area (west of Truong Sa special zone) will have northeast wind gradually strengthening to level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
From the afternoon and evening of February 1st, the sea area west of the central East Sea and the sea area from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak will have level 5 northeast wind, sometimes level 6, gusts level 7 - 8; rough seas; waves 2 - 4m high.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
