Updated news released at 4:50 p.m. on June 7 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, the inner city of Hanoi in Nam Tu Liem and Ha Dong is experiencing moderate to heavy rain.
In the next 3 - 6 hours, the inner city of Hanoi and neighboring areas will continue to have heavy rain with common rainfall ranging from 15 - 30mm, some places over 50mm.
This rain is likely to cause flooding for many streets with common depths of 15 - 25cm; some streets are likely to be flooded deeper with a depth of 20 - 40cm.
The meteorological agency noted that during this rain, the streets were only flooded during heavy rain and were soon drained after the rain ended 30 - 60 minutes.
The flood risk warning level is level 1. Traffic on deeply flooded streets will be affected, locally congested or many vehicles will have difficulty moving.
