In Hue city and the South Central Coast region during the day and night of December 11, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast with common rainfall from 10 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 60mm.
The meteorological agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. The risk level of natural disasters due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1. Localized heavy rain can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes, and flooding in low-lying areas.

Provinces/cities from Quang Tri to Da Nang, the east of Quang Ngai province to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa are likely to experience widespread heavy rains (concentrated in the first half of December).
