According to a representative of the Weather Forecasting Department, from now until September 12, the southern area of Nghe An province inwards to Da Nang city, the eastern province of Quang Ngai, the Central Highlands and the South will experience moderate to heavy rain over a wide area, even very heavy rain in some places.

From the evening of September 11 to September 12, the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang and the East of Quang Ngai province will have moderate to heavy rain with common rainfall from 50-100mm, locally very heavy rain over 200mm; especially the area from Hue to Da Nang is common from 70-150mm, locally over 250mm.
The eastern region of provinces from Gia Lai to Dak Lak, the Central Highlands and the South will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 30-60mm, locally very heavy rain over 100mm.
Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Khanh Hoa and eastern Lam Dong areas in the evening and night of September 11, there will be showers and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain over 70mm.
