According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently, the low pressure trough with an axis at about 24 - 27 degrees north latitude is weakly compressed, pushing the epidemic south.
The Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. It is forecasted that from the evening of April 27 to April 28, the Northeast region will have rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20 - 40mm, locally over 80mm.
The Northwest and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, locally over 50mm.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. The warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail is level 1.
According to the meteorological agency, from now until the first half of May, the North will continue to welcome more weak cold air waves. The conflict between these air masses makes the atmosphere unstable, prone to strong thunderstorms; risk of flash floods and landslides.
