The area from Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai on the day and night of October 7 is forecast to have moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 20 - 40mm, locally over 100mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (rainfall greater than 100mm within 6 hours).

In the area from Binh Dinh to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South, on the day and night of October 7, there is forecast to be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall from 15 - 30mm, locally over 70mm. Thunderstorms will be concentrated in the late afternoon and at night.

The Meteorological Agency warns that thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods in small rivers and streams; and landslides on steep slopes.

Regarding sea weather, currently, the sea area west of the North East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa archipelago), the central and southern East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago), the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai has showers and thunderstorms.

Forecast for the day and night of October 7, the western sea area of ​​the North East Sea (including the sea area of ​​Hoang Sa archipelago), the Central and Southern East Sea area (including the sea area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago), the Southern Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to Kien Giang and the Gulf of Thailand will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind level 7 - 8.

All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.
