According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, last night and this morning (November 3), the area from southern Ha Tinh to Da Nang city had moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain; Hue city - Da Nang city had heavy to very heavy rain.
Rainfall from 7pm on November 2 to 8am on November 3 locally over 240mm in some places such as Ban Nuoc Station (Ha Tinh) 242mm, Dinh Bach Ma Station (Hue City) 270mm, Thang Binh Station (Da Nang City) 376.2mm.
The area from Ha Tinh to Hue city from the morning of November 3 to the end of November 4 is forecast to have heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 150 - 250mm, locally over 400mm. Da Nang city area has heavy rain with common rainfall of 100 - 200mm, locally very heavy over 250mm. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 200mm within 3 hours.
The area from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri on the night of November 4 is forecast to have moderate rain, heavy rain with common rainfall of 20 - 40mm, locally very heavy rain over 70mm. From November 5 to the morning of November 6, heavy rain in the above area tends to decrease.
The Central and Southern Plateau areas during the day and night of November 3 are forecast to have showers and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 10 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 60mm (rain concentrated in the afternoon and evening). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Warning of the risk of heavy rain with rainfall greater than 60mm within 3 hours.

The meteorological agency also forecasts that around November 5, storm Kalmaegi will enter the East Sea and become storm No. 13. Then it is likely to move towards the Central provinces.
Around November 7, the storm is likely to move into our mainland. The key area to note that it is likely to be directly affected is from Da Nang city to Khanh Hoa.
The storm may cause strong winds and heavy rain in the provinces of the Central Central, South Central and Central Highlands regions from the night of November 6 to November 9, 2025.
From now until the first half of December 2025, moderate and heavy rains are likely to continue to appear in the Central region, concentrated in the area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang, Khanh Hoa and the eastern areas of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak.
The western part of Lam Dong province and the Southern region in November are likely to have many days of showers and thunderstorms; in which, some days may have moderate to heavy rain.
