The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has updated the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow (August 19) in areas across the country.
The Northeast and Thanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. The Northwest will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, concentrated in the late afternoon and night.
The Central and Southern highlands will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy rain

Hanoi City
Lowest temperature: 23-25 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 28-30 degrees Celsius.
Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms. North to northwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Northwest
Lowest temperature: 22-25 degrees Celsius, some places below 21 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees Celsius.
Cloudy, scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain (rain concentrated in the late afternoon and night). Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Northeast
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 21 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: 27-30 degrees Celsius.
Cloudy, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. North to northwest wind level 2-3; coastal areas from Quang Ninh and Hai Phong have strong winds level 6, gusting to level 8. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
Thanh Hoa to Hue
Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees Celsius.
Highest temperature: North 28-31 degrees Celsius, South 31-34 degrees Celsius.
