On August 29, functional forces of D'Ran commune (Lam Dong) said that they are continuing to monitor the area where the forest fire occurred to prevent the risk of fire reignition.
At about 10 pm on August 28, a fire broke out in the forest area managed by Quoc Vuong Company, behind Eo Gio Quarantine Station, D'Ran commune.

Immediately upon receiving the news, the D'Ran Commune Police reported to higher authorities, and the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee directly went to the scene to direct firefighting.
Nearly 70 people including police, military, forest rangers, militia and self-defense forces, forest protection teams and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level were mobilized to zone and extinguish the fire.
By 24:00 on the same day, the fire was completely controlled. The fire burned down about 2 hectares of vegetation, did not affect natural forest trees, and did not cause damage to people and property.
Currently, functional forces are continuing to monitor the scene and investigate the cause of the fire.
