On April 6, the Military Command of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just mobilized dozens of people to coordinate with the police force to promptly control and extinguish a fire at Cau Dat tea hill.

Previously, on the night of April 5, the unit received a fire report in the Cau Dat tea hill area, so it mobilized forces to quickly be present at the scene, coordinating with other forces to deploy firefighting.
At the time of arrival, due to strong winds and many flammable vegetation, the fire spread widely in the tea hill area. Dozens of people from many forces were assigned to extinguish the fire from many directions.

The forces used tree branches and fire extinguishers, focusing on zoning and controlling the fire. After more than 2 hours of effort, the fire was completely extinguished.
The fire was controlled promptly, only burning vegetation and shrubs on forestry land; not spreading to people's Oolong tea growing areas, so no damage was caused.
