On the afternoon of November 24, Lam Dong Province Hydrometeorological Station warned of heavy rain in the upstream area of Da Nhiem River, the water level at 8:00 a.m. the same day at Dai Ninh station was 830.2m, 0.2m above alert level II.
According to the warning of the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, floods on the Da Nhim River can have a very negative impact on the environment, threatening people's lives.
On the other hand, it can cause damage to infrastructure, roads, bridges, culverts, houses; bury and erode production land.
In particular, the area along the Da Nhim River in the communes of Ninh Gia, Tan Hoi, Tan Ha Lam Ha, Dinh Trang Thuong (due to flood discharge from Dai Ninh Hydropower Reservoir).
Dong Nai riverside area of Quang Tin, Cat Tien 2, Cat Tien 3, Da Teh communes (due to flood regulation discharge from the hydropower reservoir system on Dong Nai river).
It is forecasted that in the afternoon and evening of this evening, floods on the Da Nhim River are likely to continue to decrease. At Dai Ninh station, the flood is likely to drop to alert level II.
In the next 12 - 24 hours (night of November 24 to morning of November 25), the flood on the Da Nhim River is likely to continue to decrease gradually. At Dai Ninh station, the flood is likely to drop to 0.1 - 0.2m below alert level II.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of landslides on steep hillsides, embankments, and flooding in low-lying areas along the Da Nhim river in the areas of Ninh Gia, Tan Hoi, Tan Ha Lam Ha, Dinh Trang Thuong (due to discharge to regulate overflow from Dai Ninh hydroelectric reservoir).
Currently, the system of hydroelectric reservoirs on the Da Nhim and Dong Nai rivers is currently releasing and regulating floods. The total downstream discharge at the hydroelectric reservoirs at 8:00 a.m. on November 24 was: Doi Duong 151m3/s; Dai Ninh 380m3/s; Dong Nai 3 was 553m3/s; Dong Nai 4 was 559m3/s; Dong Nai 5 was 561m3/s.
The water level on the Dong Nai River caused flooding in the riverside areas in the communes of Quang Tin, Cat Tien, Cat Tien 2, Da Teh.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, from November 17 to 23, Lam Dong experienced prolonged heavy rain, causing many communes and wards of the province to be flooded, causing heavy damage to people and property.
The authorities recorded 5 deaths, 1 injury; 2,784 households were affected, and their houses were damaged. Of which, 76 houses collapsed or were swept away by floods; 4,457 hectares of crops, mainly crops, were affected; more than 9,000 livestock and poultry were swept away by floods.
Floods caused landslides and inundation at over 180 points on the route of the province. In particular, many large-scale landslides such as Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass, National Highway 27C caused significant traffic disruption.
The estimated damage caused by floods in recent days in the province is more than 1,000 billion VND.
