On November 24, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, heavy rain lasted from November 17 to 23, causing many areas of the province to be flooded, causing heavy damage to people and property.
The authorities recorded 5 deaths and 1 injury; 2,784 households were affected and had their houses damaged, including 76 houses that collapsed or were swept away by floods; 4,457 hectares of crops, mainly crops, were affected; more than 9,000 livestock and poultry were swept away by floods.

Floods caused landslides and inundation at over 180 points on the route of the province. In particular, many large-scale landslides such as Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass, National Highway 27C caused prolonged traffic disruption.
Preliminary statistics show that floods in recent days have caused an estimated loss of more than VND1,000 billion in the whole province.

To date, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has been supported by the Prime Minister with 500 billion VND; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with 20 billion VND; Quang Ninh province with 50 billion VND; 30 billion VND from other support sources and 1,000 tons of rice.
Lam Dong province has directed the Department of Finance to coordinate with relevant units to allocate support items in accordance with the content and priority order.

In which priority is given to supporting the recovery of damage to houses, agricultural production, and stabilizing people's lives soon. At the same time, repair and restore essential traffic infrastructure systems.
Along with that, Lam Dong is prioritizing the repair of incidents on key traffic routes such as National Highway 28, National Highway 20, National Highway 27C and Provincial Road 725...

According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the locality will propose to the Prime Minister, ministries, departments and branches to support funding and forces for the locality to repair infrastructure, assets, and purchase materials and equipment to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

At the same time, the locality directs relevant agencies to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods and landslides; monitoring and directing owners of irrigation reservoirs and hydroelectric power plants in the province to operate and regulate water according to procedures, ensure safety of works, and reduce flooding in downstream areas.
