In the afternoon of April 8, after more than 2 months of prolonged hot weather, heavy rain lasted for more than 1 hour in many localities in Bao Loc, Bao Lam and Di Linh areas.
The rain has helped hundreds of thousands of hectares of key crops such as coffee, durian, vegetables... to be replenished with water after a period of shortage.

Notably, in the context of high fuel prices, the rain has helped people save significant costs and effort in pumping water.
According to farmers' experience, this is the "golden rain" at the beginning of the season, appearing right at the time when people are preparing for the 3rd watering of coffee trees, so it brings clear economic efficiency.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu (Bao Lam 1 commune) said that at this time coffee trees have been bearing fruit, and heavy rain will be very favorable for the development process.
We are very excited because the rain not only relieves the fear of water shortage but also helps save costs when fuel prices are rising," Mr. Tu shared.
