Most of the road surface has "potholes", "elephant holes"... Even many sections have deep holes that are dangerous for traffic participants.
The degraded road is causing many difficulties, affecting the travel and transportation of goods and agricultural products of local people.
"Not only that, damaged roads also pose a high risk of traffic accidents, especially for motorcyclists" - Chairman of Bao Lam 2 Commune People's Committee Tran Viet Cuong said.
Along with the actual inspection of the route, the leaders of Bao Lam 2 commune have also proactively grasped the wishes and opinions of local people on this route.
The inspection shows that local people all hope that the inter-commune road Bao Lam 2 - Hoa Ninh will soon be invested in upgrading and construction to facilitate people's travel and stabilize their lives.
When the policy is approved, people will voluntarily donate land, architectural objects, and crops to work with the State to upgrade and expand the road.
Mr. Tran Viet Cuong, Chairman of Bao Lam 2 Commune People's Committee, added: "This is an inter-commune road that plays an important role in the local transport network. Through inspection, this route is an urgent project that needs to be invested in upgrading and expanding soon".
According to Mr. Cuong, after checking and recording the actual situation, the locality will have a report to the relevant departments and branches of Lam Dong province to consider and propose a policy for the construction of the road.
"When there is an investment policy, the commune will include this project in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030 to upgrade and expand as soon as possible" - Mr. Cuong affirmed.
