On September 12, leaders of Xuan Truong Ward People's Committee - Da Lat said that the locality had just recorded a landslide point in the extended Group 5 area, belonging to the old Hanh 2 Station.
Accordingly, the landslide road section is about 15m long and 5m wide. This is a road serving people to travel, produce and transport agricultural products in the area.
The landslide location is far from residential areas, and there are no houses directly affected.
However, the incident made it difficult for people to travel to the production area, posing a potential risk of unsafety if they continued to travel through this area.
Immediately after discovering the incident, the Xuan Truong ward government - Da Lat organized a scene inspection, deployed a blockade and placed warnings in the landslide area, limiting people and vehicles from passing through.
The locality is continuing to monitor developments and assess the extent of landslides to have appropriate handling and remedial plans, ensuring safety for people and production activities.
